Sites related to myths; historical and cultural paths; religious landscapes; famous parks or gardens; sites where historic events took place; landscape of agriculture, forestry, fishery or animal herding; industrial landscapes; traffic routes; irrigation facilities; military facilities and other scenes that were formed due to the interaction of human and nature.
The structure bears cultural and historic values, demonstrates the region’s characteristics or the folk art’s features, or carries architectural, technological, or other values.

The structure is rare and can’t be easily reproduced; bears historic, cultural and artistic values; has a strong relationship with historic events or important people in the city; can present the features of the local industries and bears characteristics that are of value or potential to be reused.
The ones that are under review for historic site designation are temporarily known as interim historic sites.
